Lucy walked out from the Gryffindor Common Room, it had been a long day of school. She was looking forward to going to the Library and just reading for a while. Lucy loved to read and knew that it would calm her down after a long day, and that was just what she needed. Lucy smiled and looked around and found her usual table it was empty like it had always been. She smiled and walked over to the table sitting down adn pulling out her favourite book. She began to read it was nice to have some peace and quiet. She looked around and then continued to read.

Justin slowly walked towards the library. He wanted to catch up on his reading. He couldn't help it he was a geek, but he always offered tutoring to anyone that wanted it. He entered the library and saw Lucy sitting at a table. He grabs his books and sat down across from her. He wondered if he should try and strike up a conversation. He wasn't really that good at talking to girls no matter how much he tried it always failed. "Hey there. How are you doing?" Now just if she'd reply back to him. He hoped this wouldn't turn out like the last few conversations he had tried to strike up with other girls outside of slytherin. He looked at his books wondering what to start on if it didn't work out. |

Lucy looked up when Justin sat down infront of her. She smiled a little before she heard him ask her how she was doing. ”Hi, I’m doing good, and how are you doing?” Lucy responded with a small smile. Lucy didn’t talk to many guys, but it was nice to find one to talk to every so often. She then looked around the room. She was glad that not many people enjoyed being in the library. Lucy had seen the guy before, so she decided to add a little more to the conversation, hopefully. ”So, your Justin right?” Lucy asked him carfully. She didn’t really know how to properly start a conversation. Lucy then smiled at him. She was really hoping she’d got his name right.

He gave her a half smile still somewhat nervous. He listened to her as he replied and he nodded to what she said. Thats good, and I am doing just fine thank you. This conversation he believed was going really good even if it had just started. Yes my name is Justin. Also if you ever need any homework help I offer tutoring. He said smiling at her. He guessed that this whole conversation could be a whole lot worse then it is. He thought himself stupid about the whole tutoring thing. How are your classes going? Well that was a somewhat better topic then before. |

Lucy smiled at Justin when she realized she had infact got his name correct. She wasn’t too good at remembering peoples names, so this was good. ”Uhm, I’m okay, I’ve got the whole studying thing pretty down pact.” Lucy said softly. Lucy only studied, or read. She didn’t play Quidditch, she didn’t go to Hogsmeade, and she didn’t have too many friends. Therefore she spent all of her time studying. ”My classes are going really well thank you, and how are your classes going?” Lucy asked him with a smile. Lucy then looked down at her book for a moment, she had to finish reading the page that she was on, because it was quite a good book.

He sat there trying to think of what to say next to the girl. He was never good at talking to girls atleast. Ok, I was just letting you know like if you knew someone that needed help in a subject or anything." He replied. He knew that was the worst icebreaker in the book that he could have come up with. Oh well that part is over now hopefully they'll have a better conversation then the beginning. He was hoping to become friends with her for the lack of friends on his side. "Mine are goin well too thanks." He said in reply. "So what do you like to do for fun?" He was just trying to get to know her if anything.

Lucy smiled, and said softly, ”Well, thank you for the offer” Lucy said with a smile. She didn’t really like getting help with the work she did. She thought she was fairly good in school. Her mother before she got to Hogwarts was almost positive that she was going to get into Ravenclaw and not Gryffindor. But she did think her quirky attitude helped her to get into Hogwarts. Lucy then looked over at him when he said that Justin’s classes were going well as well. ”I like to read, for fun, and sometimes... walking” Lucy said with a smile. She did go out for a lot walks.
