Looking for a unicorn.

Dom headed toward the forbidden forest armed with her cousins invisability cloak incase of an emergancy, deciding she was going to go looking for some unicorns. It'd been ages since she seen a unicorn and who really cared if the forest was forbidden, rules were made to be broken. Thinking of unicorns made her think of Lysander and Lorcan Scamander and their house which was alway full of such animals. how she loved that place, it was so bright and cheerful and Luna was so funny though she suspected that mightn't have been on purpose. As soon as she got to the edge of the forest she pulled out her wand to have it near, just incase.

Lily slowly walked towards the forest she wasnt so sure if she wanted to explore it but then again it could be an awesome adventure to go in something that is so forbidden to go into. She only knew once cousin so far that didn't care if she broke the rules and that was Dominique or Dom for short they were really close and where only one year apart. She'd have to say out of all her cousins Dom was probably her favorite. As she walked the forest she looked around wondering what she would find here. It was then she saw Dominique. She smiled and went over. "Hey cuz. What you doing?" She was always curious which at times where a bad thing like when she was younger. Her parents thought she would grow out of it. Guess thats what happens when your fathers Harry Potter.

"Lily!" Dom said, grinning, "I'm looking for a unicorn, you know like the ones that were at Ly and Lorc's house the last time we were there for a party! Well I want to see one again!"

"I've also got your brother's invisability cloak, do you think he'll mind me using it? Well even if he does he won't kill me, he needs me alive and well to play quidditch, so we can win the cup again!" Dom said, with another grin, "So coming with me to find unicorns or not?"

She smiled at Doms excitement. "oh that is so cool. I remember them I would love to see one again too! So thats why your in the forbidden forest. Well atleast its daytime and not night."

"I don't think he'll mind but then again dad did give it to him when he was younger. Yeah we definately need you alive and well to win the cup again. Of course I'm coming with you! I would think myself crazy not to. Any idea where to look for them in here?" It wasn't very easy to find one without any ideas where to look in the forest, but then again it was one big forest with many creatures living in it.

"Well actually the name sort of attracted me as well, I mean who puts forbidden in somethings name if they don't want someone to sneak in to the forbidden place, its common sense really!" Dom admitted, the whole rule breaking thing had definitly helped her to make up her mind about coming in here.

"I'm guessing we should follow the hoove prints!" Dom said sensibly, then her eyes lit up, "You'll never guess what I did to the passage outside the Slytherin common room!"

"Well of course that is true. Then again the headmaster wouldn't have warned us at the beginning of the year if it wasn't bad." She could sometimes be sensible but when it came to her family there was alot of differences. She was courageous but not as much as her cousins and brothers. Then again she was only twelve at the moment.

"Yeah that would be a good start but you never know if their centaurs or unicorn hoofprints. What did you do?!" She really wanted to know because her first year was awful when it came to the oler slytherins.

"Lily, I think you should really pay more attention, we don't have a headmaster we have a headmistress, idiot!" Dom said laughing, "Well we have our wands and an invisability cloak, we'll be fine!"

"Well if we find some centures we can ask them were the unicorns are ! I put a charm on some long lasting unvanishable dye so that whenever a Slytherin walks on one of the tiles they get covered in red and gold!" Dom said grinning widely as she relieved the memory.

"I do pay attention, I just kinda forgot." She also started to laugh. "Yeah thats what you said last time Dom and what happened? Torture from slytherins times two last year." Those weren't the best memories of her first year here at Hogwarts. Only the ones with her family and friends.

"Of course just walk up to a centaur and say 'Hey you know where we can find some unicorns?' without being questioned." She then listened to what she said and a big smile came on her face and she burst out laughing. "Oh my gosh that is so hilarious I wish I could see their faces when that happens. She said through the laughter, but she knew shed have to quiet down soon so she slowly stopped laughing.

"Thats kind of a big thing to forget... ohhh I'm telling on you lily!" Dom teased laughing, "The Slytherins like to be mean to everyone, but maybe sneaking into their dormitaries and turning everything we could find red and gold wasn't the wisest idea" She continued thoughtfully, thinking of the prank she and Lily had pulled. She knew Lily had hated it last year when the Slytherins had picked on them and she'd tried to stick up for them both but ginormous sixth and seventh years just laughed at two tiny little gryffindors, well they hadn't been laughing when they were swimming in the lake with the giant squid!

"Why not centures are supposed to be wise surely they'll want to show of their wisdom..like Rose!" Dom said grinning, "YOu should have seen Nott's face it was hilarious, though apparently, I'm 'going to pay' I'm so scared of her... not!"

"No please don't say anything Dom. Yeah that probably wasn't the best idea but a really great prank to pull on them. They deserved it after last year and deserve no mercy or apology from it. You really need to show me what happened. Nott's face must have been priceless when that happened to her. Oh well you dont mess with the potter/weasely cousins we stick together like glue" She said with a wide smile. She knew how Dom tried to stick up for them it just wasn't enough with the sixth and seventh years. She took a deep breath.

When Dom brought up the centaurs she gave a slight glare. "I know that I just wouldn't be suprised if they questioned us about it. Besides I would like to get out of here by nightfall." She said following the hoofprints.

"Don't worry, I'm not planning on apologising to them lot, I'd rather never play Quidditch again, they definitly had it coming to them, one of them threatened to crucio us last year, the really tall, really fat one, you know the one that hit me and then Lucy and James went and killed for bullying us? Nott's face was priceless, she was furious, she really has it in for me now, we have to go watch later and see if any of the rest of them get covered! Lily don't be stupid us Potter/Weasleys stick tighter than glue we stick as tight as supersuper sticky glue!" Dom said grinning, as they kept following the primts.

"Good because I would be very dissappointed in you if you did apologize, no you cant stop quiddatch its my first year and I wouldn't be able to do it without you. I remember him I'm glad Lucy and James took care of him. I would definately like to go and see if another one falls for it. Just be areful when it comes to Nott. That girl is nothing but evil all in her. Your right it is more of a tight as supersuper sticky glue! With you training me in your practical jokes they wouldn't stand a chance. Then again theres that Alex girl." She shuddered at the thought she was the one that had done most of the pranks last year.

"I'm not worried about Nott but apparently I have four days and if the dye doesn't come of after that, i'm 'done for', I asked her if prefects were allowed to threaten younger students. Don't worry I won't stop playing Quidditch, I love it too much! It was funny though he thought he was so tight and then Lucy and James we're all like "Who gave you the right to bully first years and punch little kids," that was kind of offensive though, I'm not a little kid! Lily. you are being trained by the best you have nothing to worry about, though that Alex girl is annoying, I saw her with mini Malfoy beside the lake earlier, remember how awful she was last year and when I was in first year?" Dom said shuddering at the end.

"Four days?! How long does it take for that dye to come off? Or did you forget to read the lable again? Hey don't worry about her threats though you have the potter/weasely clan on your side. Good because I would never forgive you if you quit Quddatch, never! It was funny how they put him in his place. Your not that little your still a third year compared to them. I remember how awful she was. She seems to love torturing first years and it drives me nuts. I want to get her back so bad its not even funny." She said with determination in her voice. She did want revenge on Alex and she would find a way for that revenge to happen witih or without Doms help, but hopefully with.

"Well I don't really remember what it said on the label but it was either four days, a week or permenant, I hope it is permenant it'd serve her right. I would never forgive myself either if I gave up Quidditch, we need to win the cup again afterall! Well even if I am just a third year and they're all alot talller, I still punched one of them fifth years last year! That was funny! I want to get her back too, we have to show her that no one messes with the Weasley/ Potters, no one!" Dom said with a determined look in her eye, this girl was going down!
